Finally! Lagos & Ogun State Schools to resume October 8

After much meetings and deliberations on the safety measures against the much dreaded Ebola virus, Lagos and Ogun state governments have ordered its private and public schools to resume on October 8, 2014.

For Lagos State, governor Babatunde Fashola approved the new resumption date at a stakeholders' forum held. Yesterday, Sunday, at Lagos Television Blue Roof, Agindigbi, Ikeja.

The forum was attended by head teachers and principals of schools in the state.

Fashola said the shift in date was to allow for adequate distribution of Ebola preventive materials in schools across the state.
