Nigerian human rights activist and lawyer Bamidele Aturu who passed away at the age of 49 on July 9,2014 after a brief illness has been buried.

His burial ceremony was held on Friday 25th July 2014. He was laid to rest in his country-home of Ogbagi Akoko in Ondo state, with friends, family and colleagues in attendance.

Those present at the ceremony were his wife Bimpe Aturu and children Erioluwa and Tobiloba, Aturu's deputy Chisa Anyanwu and actor Babatunde Omidina (Baba Suwe). May his soul rest in peace.
