IT was a mixture of excitement and sadness when the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) took its members to pay a condolence visit to the family of late Wahab Folawiyo in his home in Lagos.

Also on the entourage of the role interpreters was mama Bakassi herself, Senator Florence Ita Giwa, who is the current matron of the umbrella body of Nigerian actors.

Nollywood actors who were received by the widow and children of the late industrialist are president of AGN, Ejike Asiegbu, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Stella Damassus and others.

In his speech, Mr. Asiegbu described the late elderly statesman as a very hardworking and dedicated Nigerian.
Describing the late Folawiyo, Kanayo O. Kanayo noted: “The man we have come to celebrate left a good legacy.
