“AGN Land, I Chased It Like A Lunatic”………..Ibinabo Fiberesima

President Goodluck Jonathan, has no doubt proven that he is worth the Grand Patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has he has once again given hope to the association after saving the lives of three make-belief players, ailing National President of the Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN), Chike Bryan, Prince James Uche; and Romanus Uchenna Amuta, popularly known as Natty in the now rested TV drama, New Masquerade.

The President recently allocated some plots of land for the building of an AGN office in the federal capital territory as demanded by the AGN president Ibinabo Fiberesima and its members during a visit to the President earlier in the year.

According to elated Ibinabo, recalling her struggle for the position of the AGN position during the presentation of the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to its members, explained that people don't know that women can actually get what they want because they know the right ways to go about it.

“They didn't know women are the ones who know how to make things work much more. I chased this land like a lunatic because I didn't want to hear that the certificate of occupancy did not come when I was president. So today, I'm so happy to present this certificate to the board of trustees,” she said, beaming with joy as she presented the documents to the board of trustees, Ifeanyi Dike.

The presentation of the land in the Federal Capital Territory, done at a stakeholders' forum of the AGN in Lagos, coincided with an event held to mark the one-year anniversary of AGN Lagos chapter chairman, Victor Osuagwu.
