Mr. Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese, Wins Big At Mr World Pageant
Some weeks ago, Emmanuel Ikubese was crowned Mr. Nigeria and soon after, he jetted off to the United Kingdom to join other contestants to represent Nigeria at the Mr. World beauty contest which took place on Sunday, June 15, at the English Rivera, Torbay, UK.
Ikubese was announced first runner-up at the event. He is now the second world's most desirable man 2014' and also laimed a double win for himself, an award for the most stylish and fashionable man at the pageant.
Dane Nicklas Pedersen, a 23-year-old carpenter by profession, who hails from Brondby, a suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark, bagged the 'Mr. World 2014' prize by defeating 45 other contestants.
The third place (2nd runner-up) went to Jose Pablo Minor of Mexico, who is professionally an actor.
An excited Emmanuel Ikubese took to his social media platform to share his joy saying, “Proud to be Nigerian anyday, #God is Great #blessed #Am nothing without God #Proud Nigerian”
Ikubese is a model and actor by profession, and known mostly to have starred in the award winning MTV Television series called 'Shuga'.
