If the gist in town concerning Empress Njama and wave-making musician, Timaya, is anything to go by, the duo may walk down the aisle soon.

Empress had a few months ago debunked the rumour that she was dating the musician. She even told Life and Beat, “I am not dating any Timaya. I attended an event in Port Harcourt and he was also there. Other artistes were there, including Basorge. How come they didn't say I was dating those ones?”

Impeccable sources, however, told Life and Beat during the week that the showbiz personalities had grown tighter, so much so that the Port Harcourt-based crooner now considers the FESTAC abode of the actress his second home.

A source said, “Each time the musician comes into town, rather than stay in a hotel, he stays in Empress' house in FESTAC. Her brothers do not mind the relationship at all. Empress is always going to Port Harcourt as well.”

Another source corroborated the story, adding, “If you go to Timaya's house in Port Harcourt, right there in his living room is a photograph he took with Empress. In the picture, Empress leans her shoulders on the guy's chest. It is a very romantic picture.”

Life and Beat called Empress to confirm the story but another person picked the call and said, “Empress is sleeping. If this is your number, she will call you back when she wakes up.”
