On Tuesday, June 3, 2014, some top Nigerian celebrities participated in the Lagos State Resident Registration programme, which took place at the Adeyemi Bero Hall, Alausa, Ikeja.

The idea of using the celebs, according to information, was to use them to sensitise Lagosians on the initiative.

The top entertainers present at the event yesterday were registered by the state government as residents of the city. They include Yemi Solade, Joke Silva, Adebayo Salami, Doris Simeon, Mama Rainbow, Papa Ajasco, Boy Alinco, Foluke Daramola, Nike Peller, Bimbo Akintola, Adewale Elesho, King Sunny Ade, MC, AliBaba, and Gbenga Adeyinka amongst others.
