We Created Synergy of Young Artists……Akon

Multiple award winning African musician, Akon, recently has described Africa as a 'prime real estate investment place,' for investment.

According to Akon, 'everything that is happening in Africa from the resources down to the human resources is going to help the rest of the world but Africa is still [behind] when it comes to development.'

He added that the light is so bright for Africa and as such, investors should see it as a potential place for investments.

He noted that entertainment was his niche and he had to think of how he could spread it across so as to show the world what African artistes are made of.

“It all started with me investing in the entertainment sector. I started a record company in Africa and signed, Wizkid, P-Square, Davido so it's like we created this synergy of young artists that could cross over.”

Apart from owning a record label, the artiste has also invested in a South African diamond mine.
