Gospel Artistes Should Not Depend On Gospel Music Alone--Nikki Laoye
Nigerian gospel artiste, Nikki Laoye, has called on other gospel artistes to embrace secular music as everyone all serve one God.
The artiste, speaking with STV, stated that as a gospel artiste, one does not have to totally centre his or her mind on gospel tunes alone as they all have the right to sing other styles of music.
Nikki said that the secular artistes attend church as well and also have various pains on certain issues and as such, they have to sing about it.
She said that there are other issues apart from gospel that they (gospel artistes) can all attend to through their songs and so, they should not restrict themselves to singing about the gospel alone.
