Nigerian movie marketers in disarray

Things seem to have fallen apart in the movie marketers den following the ban of two top movie makers namely Izu Ojukwu (Ulzee) and Ojiofor Ezeanyeche (OJ) productions) on the grounds of betrayal and gross insubordination to the rules of the Association.

It was gathered that while some members of the most dreaded cuncus in the movie industry are in support of this action, others anonymously lend their voices claiming that the two producers are the best film makers in Nigeria at present. They condemned the association for doctoring the offence especially at this period the industry is gaining global recognition.

According to our source the problem started when the association issued an ultimatum to all its members to stop production for a while in order to sanitize the industry, but the duo blatantly refused to heed and went ahead to produce movies into the market, thus the association decided to ban them.

It will be recalled that it was this same group that unanimously agreed in their own Aso Rock in Awka, Anambra State, years back to ban some top Nollywood stars hike Jim Iyke, Genevieve Nnaji, RMD, Omotola, Nkem Owoh and others for various offences.
