On Saturday, May 3, 2014, Africa's screen goddess, Genevieve Nnaji turned 35 and a party was thrown to honour the 'blessing to the African film industry'.

Close friends and associates were in hand to make the day a memorable one for the actress, who was looking like a queen she truly is.

The Etisalat brand ambassador was born on May 3, 1979 and has grown to become a force to reckon with in the entertainment in the continent.

She also used the day to call for the release of schoolgirls in Borno State. Genevieve begged the government to do everything possible to rescue the girls, as their abduction goes against everything Africans have fought for.
