Ugboma Bovi is a multifaceted entertainer who has been able to carve a niche for himself as one of the top notch comedians in Nigeria.

The Delta state born comedian, who welcomed his second child late last year, has expressed his dissatisfaction of the none availability of good structure to protect artistic works in the industry.

“Entertainment is still like a virgin land in Nigeria. It is an all comers affair. It is just like new born baby with a dangling umbilical cord, waiting to be cut off and cleaned up. We really don't have a structure yet. But I believe with time, I am sure we will.”

Expressing his mind on plagiarism of jokes, the comedian said that it has become a sensitive issue, but if it helps to kick start the career of the upcoming, it's fair enough.

“It's a sensitive issue, but like I said, we don't have a structure yet. As long as the new guys are not being idle and taking to crime, then it is fine by me. With time, they will find their true calling if it is not comedy. So it's a stepping stone for them.”
