DONALD DUKE AT RUGGEDMAN'S 20TH SEPT LAUNCH
ON the 31st of May, celebrities and fashionistas converged at the Silverbird galleria to witness the official launching of Ruggedman's 20th of Sept. clothing line.
The highlight of the event was the appearance of the former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke who not only honored the rap star's invitation to the event but acted as chief launcher of the event. During his overwhelming speech, Mr. Duke expresses his stated his encouraged Nigerian youth to be enterprising who came as the chief launcher stated that encouraged Nigerians to be as enterprising as Ruggedman exploring and turning all of their passions into viable ventures.
Initially, the launch was expected to be hosted by TV presenter Derenle Edun while artistes scheduled to perform were rave-of-the-moment, 9ice and the mo hits family. However things took a slight turn as the d-day to the launch approached and due to the haphazard manner in which the event was coordinated, things took a different turn; Derenle only appeared as guests, while performances became an open mic session.
Other celebrities present at the event include Mo Hits Family, top model, Isio Nwanogho, Tunde Obe, rapper, Kage and designer, Marco Martinez.
The 20th of September wears is Ruggedman's range of hiphop attires designed to meet the need anybody with a good sense and taste in Hiphop fashion.
