Few weeks ago, Fuji star, Abass Akande Obesere was alleged to have r*ped his lover, and now, a Yoruba actor called Ganiyu Oyeyemi but better known as Ogunjimi is swimming in the waters of an alleged r*pe.

Ogunjimi was reportedly arrested by the Osun State Police Command for allegedly r*ping his friend's daughter in Osogbo, Osun State.

Ogunjimi, who is well known for his violent roles in Yoruba movies was arrested last Tuesday by the Police and detained at the Oke-Baale division of the Nigeria Police, after the victim had reported him. It was gathered from reports that the actor was transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) for further interrogation.

Medical experts examined the victim and they reportedly proved that Ogunjimi allegedly had a forceful c**nal knowledge of the 22 year old lady.

The victim and her mother were said to be living with Ogunjimi at his Osogbo residence and that he was the one responsible for their upkeep until the victim's mother recently left her with Ogunjimi in Osogbo and relocated to Lagos.

It was gathered that after the alleged r*pe, the victim reported the incident to the police alongside some residents of the area.

A senior police officer at the Oke Bale Police Division, where Ogunjimi was taken to after his arrest, told Sunday Sun that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) transferred the case to the SCID due to pressure mounted on him by influential people to release the suspect.

Osun Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Folashade Odoro who confirmed that the case had been reported to the police, also confirmed that the popular Yoruba actor was being detained at the SCID, Osogbo.
