Foremost woman activist and President of Women Arise For Change Initiatives, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin has disclosed that what most Nigerian women want is a country that works and not otherwise.

She stated this at the recently concluded Women Leadership Conference held last Thursday in Lagos and put together by foremost magazine, 'Top Celebrity Magazine'.

Odumakin said that, "Women are worth celebrating and in celebrating them, it is not really to massage their ego but to encourage them to do lots more and that's why I want to salute the courage of the organizers [of this event]. This is an effort making event and it will go a long way in encouraging our women to positively affect lives and when they do that in their immediate family/homes, the community will gain at large, because we are interested in the Nigeria that works”.

The event, which was covered by Nollywoodgists.com, was largely successful.
