Nollywood star, Genevieve Nnaji has been bitten by the 'Surulere' bug that is currently causing a viral 'virus' in the entertainment industry in Nigeria.

The 'Surulere' phenomenon is about popular artistes sharing a merged picture of their 'before and after' pictures to show their rapid growth over time. 'Surulere' is a Yoruba word which literally means 'patience pays'. The bug started after Dr Sid released a single entitled 'Surulere', which he featured Don Jazzy in.

Genevieve recently released a merge picture of her childhood, growing up days in Nollywood and her recent picture, which she took at the 2013 edition of AfricaMagic Viewers Choice Awards held in Lagos.

Indeed, Genny, also fondly called 'Ansa Baby' by Nollywoodgists.com Forumites, can proudly say 'patience pays'.
