It was the birthday of Ghana top actress, Jackie Appiah, penultimate Thursday, December 5, 2013. The widely circulated gist however, was how the highly celebrated actress celebrated her birthday with the less-privileged kids at an orphanage in Accra.

Meanwhile, only a few people are in the know that a lavish birthday party was held to celebrate Jackie's birthday in the night of that day. The surprise party was put together by handsome Nollywood actor, Bobby Obodo, who has been in the news as being the new man in Jackie's life.

We have it on good authority that the duo are truly entangled in a hot romance. Jackie and Bobby have been involved in the affair for over one year now, we learnt. We also gathered that the 2 movie stars are serious about the affair.

Jackie is currently not married, since her marriage crashed about 2 years ago and Bobby is single. Sources also say that apart from being in the movie industry, Bobby is Big Boy loaded with cash.

On Jackie's birthday however, Bobby invited a select number of Jackie's friend to the surprise party. The venue of the party was not announced even to the invitees until about an hour which kick-started at the popular Jazz Lounge, 233 at Ridge in Accra before the train later moved to party harder at Reggie Rockstone's club, The Django at Cantonments, also in Accra.

It was fun-unlimited for the friends who party with Jackie, courtesy of Bobby that night as the Naija big boy spoilt everyone present. -CityPeople
