The Nollywood awards which took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos on Saturday night was a great one as Rita Dominic and others emerges with their awards.

Rita dominic beats Nse Ikpe Etim, Mercy Johnson, Funke Akindele, Bimbo Akintola and Uche Jumbo to win the best actress in leading role.

Co-host by top actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, artistes who stepped out include, Timini Egbuson, Fred Amata, Olumide Akande, Yaw, Lolo, Kunle Afolayan, Rukky Sanda, Uru Eke, O.C Ukeje, Uti Nwachukwu, Rita Dominic, Mealdread Okwo, Dr. Sid and many more.

The 2013 Nollywood Movies Awards involved movies like Phone Swap, Hoodrush and Maami snagged awards.
