Latest development on the ongoing crisis in the PDP Governors' Forum is that, based on the appeal of the PDP Governors' Forum led by the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Akpabio, the National Working Committee of the party has rescinded the decision to suspend the Governor of Sokoto State, Gov Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Wamako from the party.

The National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur announced this decision at Legacy House, Abuja while briefing the press on the outcome of the meeting of the NWC and the Presidential Committee on the PDP Crisis.
