Following a story published on Nollywoodgists.com, about ex-Super Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Udeze, taking to gambling and as a result, now growing debts like grasses, the former West Bromwich Albion man has now reacted to the story.

According to Ifeanyi, while speaking with us on phone, he asked why such story would be written about him. Though he claimed the story to be false, but Nollywoodgists.com declined revealing the source of the story to him as it is against the ethics of journalism.

Also, one of his friends (name withheld), who claimed to have known the footballer for 15 years now, told us when he called us that Ifeanyi has not been to any casino in his life. He said Ifeanyi does not gamble. He said if it was another thing that was written about his footballer friend, he would believe but not casino.
