After several weeks of registration, auditions and camping, the Face of Peace Africa Beauty Pageant will finally climax this Sunday, December 9, 2012 by 5pm at the exquisite Oriental Hotels, Lekki, Lagos with Uti Nwachukwu and OAP, Matse hosting the event.

The widely publicized event will feature 30 beauty queens from several African countries. These beauty queens have been selected from different auditions outside Nigeria with the best of each zone emerging as the finalists who will jostle for the coveted prizes on display at the pageant finale.

To further add gusto to the event, there would be music performances from Faze, Nigga Raw, 2Shotz, Ruffcoin, Ruffman, Pastor Goddy Goddy, De Adshas, Didi Bebe (Cameroon Makossa Sensation) and Julie Hay. The audience will be treated to rib cracking jokes by Monkals.

The winner (Face of peace Africa 2012) will go home with $10,000, brand new car, one year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, one year Beauty routine with bold and beautiful, a trip to Gambia.

1st runner up (Blu-moon model) will get $5,000, 42 inches Plasma TV, one year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, one year Beauty routine with bold and beautiful, a trip to Ghana.

The 2nd runner up (Blu-moon Image) will get prizes worth $,2000, 27 inches Plasma TV, one year movie contract with Blu-moon Imaginationz, one year Beauty routine with bold and beautiful, and trip to Obudu cattle ranch.

Consolation prizes will also be available for other contestants in the pageant. The Face of Peace Africa Pageant is a new beauty pageant from the stable of Blu-Moon Imaginationz, a media and film production outfit in Abuja founded by the current Miss Peace Nigeria, Ify Concepta, the one-time runner up for Miss Imo and Miss Tourism.
