Reports just reaching Nollywoodgists.com confirm that the strongman of Kwara State politics, Dr Abubakar Olusola Saraki has reportedly died in a Lagos hospital. The former Senate Leader in the second republic was reported dead this morning in Lagos.

Dr. Sakari, who was the Warizi of Ilorinland, was aged 79 before his death. He would be buried Ilorin, Kwara State this evening by 4pm.
Dr. Sakari held the politics of Kwara State in his hands for many years until his son, Bukola Sarakin who was a former governor of the state and a now-serving Senator, displaced him as Kwawa-politics' kingmaker in 2011.
