Tinsel In Dilemma As Telema Duke Leaves
Panic seems to be setting in for the producers of the DSTV soap, Tinsel as their major lead actors are leaving. Damilola Adegbite otherwise known as Telema Duke in the popular called Tinsel seems to have had her last appearance with the organisation as you're reading this.
If you're an ardent fan of this Dstv soap "Tinsel", you'd have been wondering what happened to Telema Duke played and hoping she returns sometime soon.
According to the soap's plot at the moment, she is said to be away in the UK shooting a movie.
Sadly, Damilola would not be returning as her management released an official statement to that effect yesterday. The statement reads thus:
"Damilola is sad to be saying goodbye to the show and would deeply miss everyone. The last four years spent on the show has been a very beautiful and fulfilling experience for her; Damilola over the course of four years has built not only a good work relationship, but great friendship and regards the entire cast and crew as family.
She is however very excited about the next phase of her career, as she is currently on a movie set with AMAA award winning film maker, Michelle Bello, where Damilola will be playing a lead role in the upcoming movie."
The brief further states, "she uses this opportunity to say a big thank you to her fans for the love and support throughout her time on Tinsel and hopes to continue to have their support as she steps into the next phase."
Damilola, if you recall, will be the second lead to exit Tinsel in the last couple of months. First was Matilda Obaseki, who plays Angela Dede. She left because she was pregnant and recently delivered a baby boy.
