``My mum had been ill for quite sometimes and it all came to a quick end on Wednesday 11th of July 2012. She had been diagnosed with a muscle disease which we hoped would give her more time.

She was the best mother! The most supportive and cared so much she sacrificed her own comforts. Her illness had me divided for quite some time. I was with her for two months earlier on in the year; I wish I did spend more time with her at the end.

I only have had one mother and a great one she was! Her name was Martha Onyemuchechi Jegede. She genuinely cared about my family, sisters and brothers and she was a good wife to my father.

She sacrificed her comforts, for the vision she saw for her children over and over again. She supported my father in every way, always being behind him. Memories of the laughter my parents shared together gave me something to aspire to. She loved everyone. While I was younger she kept the balance of a normal life at home while we went to meet Kings and presidents.

Now I look back I can see she lived everyday like it was her last, pushing barriers like there was no tomorrow, speaking to people like she might never see them again. I know she touched so many lives and the stories of her life just keep coming in to us.

My mother 'Martha' was so much loved by Jesus, saw Jesus face to face before I was born. My parents waited for a while before they had me as the first child. They had been told they couldn't have any children. She was sleeping many years ago, when Jesus came into the room with two nurses and performed an operation for her, changed her womb and replaced with a brand new one. At the end, Jesus smiled and she realised what had happened. I was born shortly after.

Before she passed on, on her sick bed, Jesus appeared to her and told her 'I am here for you'. She became well right there to the amazement of everyone at the hospital in London. They all wondered what miracle drug she had taken. She informed my sisters who were all with her immediately. The following morning, she went to be with the Lord. What a glorious home call. She has passed on to be with Jesus.

I will say that I am encouraged to live every moment, to excel, to be the light, to motivate others, because I know it is in my blood. From the amazing five Jegede children who came from 1 amazing woman and her amazing husband; Martha of Jesus, We will miss you mummy so much. Rest with Jesus till we meet again at the feet of our Lord. Tosin Jegede wrote as Tribute.
