KSA, Obey Solidifies Bond In Presence Of Tinubu, Fashola, Arisekola**Mentors: Baba Sala, Fatai Rolling Dollar Watch
The much awaited and publicised show involving both King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey performing on one stage finally held last week Sunday.
The event, which took place at The Habour Point, Victoria Island, turned out to be a show for top political and society big-boys.
Chief Bola Tinubu, Governor Raji Fashola, Alao Arisekola, Ademola Seriki, Mo Abudu, Obateru of Obat Oil, Bisi Olatilo and other big wigs were part of those that witnessed the occasion.
Music masters and mentors of both KSA and Obey, Baba Sala and Fatai Rolling Dollar respectively were also present to see their proteges perform together for the first time in a long time.
During their hay days, fans of the two music legends always have the notion that both were not in good terms. Any abusive songs from any of them were seen as an attack on the other.
The show took place on Sunday, May 27 after it had been shifted severally.
The event was also used to raise fund for foundations run by the two music stars. Over 10million naira was raised that night.
Each short songs sang by each of the two great singers for about two minutes went for 500,000 naira. The event was largely very successful.
