The world is watch with keen interest to see the level of credibility of the World Bank Board and the level of their independence in decision making.

The big brother America who happens to play the role of being the highest Advocate of world-wide DEMOCRACY and have helped to institutionalize democratic governance processes in many developing countries; should by itself be seem and known to practice as we as live democracy.

A true democracy must not lack vital components or elements such as Fairness, Equity, Transparency, Merit as well as cognizance for Best-of-Judgement of all stakeholders of a system, etc. MONOPOLY has never been and is never and shall never be an attribute of DEMOCRACY. MONOPOLY is only an attribute of DEMO-CRAZY.

The strong competition for the World Bank presidency is a glare sign of end of an era of America's monopoly and dominance in the top leadership of the global apex bank.

One country leadership of World Bank is exactly like One-Family political monoply syndrome prevalent in under-developed/developing nations of both Asian and African regions that is characterized with its recent attendant crises due changes in everything including awareness of human rights.

The two developing countries' candidates (i.e Nigerian and Colombian) are both economists and finacial experts with outstanding cognate working experiences in financial related political, corporate and deplomatic offices at both national, regioanal and global levels. So, for the sake of Fairness and Equity, one of the two economist should be priviledged to head the global apex bank this time.
