There is a popular saying that 'mothers are like gold, while fathers are like mirror.

Just yesterday, Sunday, April 8, 2012, mother of controversial actress, Empress Njamah was a year older.

In an interview granted a media publication last year, Empress disclosed her joy of having a wonderful mother like hers.

Excerpt from the interview reads, "I would have made my mother the saddest woman on the face of this earth if I'd married Timaya.

"I would have sent my mother to an early grave. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She is my happiness."

Empress had a romantic affair with Timaya, but dumped him to marry another man.
