KELLY ROWLAND COLLAPSES ONSTAGE IN NIGERIA
Things got a little too hot for singer Kelly Rowland at a concert in Lagos, Nigeria yesterday.
The songstress was about to kick off a set of hits by her former band Destiny's Child when she collapsed onstage due to dehydration, says her rep.
Rowland was performing outdoors as part of the ThisDay Music Festival.
"The stage was set up in a stadium field under the sun," her rep tells us. "She fell pretty hard, but she got checked out and she was okay."
Rowland was taken to a local hospital to replenish her fluids and prepare for her return to the United States.
She is currently en-route via the United Kingdom to her home in Houston, TX, where she can kick back before the next leg of the promotional tour for her new album "Ms. Kelly," released July 3.
