When The Past Came Calling Ruke Amata
The name, Amata is respected in Nigeria's film industry. It is no surprise that scions of the Amata dynasty have well excelled in Nollywood.
As we gathered, Ruke Amata has taken her craft further by doing a movie that is 80 percent the United Kingdom based casts.
Information available to Nollywoodgists.com has it that following a successful premiere of her new movie, The Past Came Calling in Banjul, the Gambia, Ruke has concluded plans to premiere her movie in Nigeria.
The Past Came Calling addresses issues like advanced free fraud (419), inter-racial relationship, juvenile delinquency, effects of divorce on a child, and sins of the father being visited on the child.
The UK and the Gambian premieres had top government representatives and Nollywood stars in attendance.
The film, which was produced and directed by Ruke Amata, stars Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, John Dumelo, Oliver Jolliffe, Marie Kumba Gomez ( the winner of Class Act UK 2011), and other stars.
