Epitome of humility and exalted shepherd in charge of The Redeemed Christian Church of God,Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye,has every cause to praise God and dance more than the Biblical King David when the art of covenant was brought to Jerusalem,the city of David.

The gentleman has completed the N2 billion Redeemer's University at Ede,Osun State.

Insiders squealed to us that the Ede,Osun State project has been ongoing secretly to serve as the main campus of Redeemers University of Nigeria(RUN).

According to an insider,Daddy G.O,as he is fondly called,from the initial stage conceived the idea of having the university as a multi-campus with its main campus in Ede,Osun State.

The aim was to accommodate other denominations and erase the erroneous belief that its strictly for worshippers in RCCG.Thus,about 550 plots of land were acquired few years back to kick-start the project.

A source,who squealed to us under anonymity,claimed that the project was kept under wraps because Daddy G.O wanted it to be a surprise package.Thus,the campus is ready with the colleges of Natural Sciences,Humanities and Management.

The only college still under construction is that of Medicine.

According to our source,the students will move from their temporary site at the Redemption Camp along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway to the permanent site at Ede in September 2012,for the next academic session.

This will afford the Pastor Adeboye led RUN to put finishing touches to the multi-million naira project.
