Top Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare Okufolire has reacted to news making rounds town of her reported near ghastly car accident over the weekend.

The sultry Yoruba actress, who recently acquired a Range Rovers Sports SUV, debunked rumour spreading like harmattan fire that she was involved in a car crash in her new wonder-on-wheels along Ifo road in Ogun State.

The rumour about her car accident came as a result of an accident involved on that road over the weekend. Though effort to initially confirm the story proved abortive as at the time of filing the first report.

Speaking exclusively with Nollywoodgists.com when contacted about the reported car accident, Laide said she was surprised when her mobile phone started buzzling with calls from people calling her of the reported auto accident.

In her words, “God forbids, I was never involved in any auto accident. Like you know, I have been in Ghana since last week for a movie shoot.

“I really don't know where the story is coming from. Please help me tell my fans and others that I am hale and hearty. I was never involved in any car accident.”

She then sent pictures of her, taken with her customized Range Rovers Sports SUV reportedly said to have been damaged in the car crash to Nollywoodgists.com.
