NDLEA Appeals Baba Suwe's N25million Compensation Judgement
Reports reaching Nollywoodgists.com confirm that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has appealed the judgement ruled against it to pay Baba Suwe the sum of N25million as compensation.
The anti-drug agency, today, Wednesday February 8, applied for a stay of execution on the court order to pay Babatunde Omidina, who is well known as Baba Suwe the said compensation for the violation of his right to liberty.
Justice Yetunde Idowu fixed March 2 for hearing on the appeal filed by NDLEA.
The comic actor was arrested on October 12, 2011 by NDLEA for ingestion of substance suspected to be hard drug. He was granted bail by Justice Yetunde Idowu on November 4, 2011.
