TK holds training programme

FOREMOST cinematographer and filmmaker, Tunde Kelani, also known as TK in the film industry, has hinted that he will be involved in a training programme tagged Advanced Film and Television Training in Africa. The programme according to the arrowhead of Mainframe, will take the form of a master class workshop series starting later in October. “This initiative seeks to avail our nascent film industry high quality training opportunities to professionals who need to update their skills to improve on the quality and standard of our productions,” he said. The filmmaker behind some of the sectors critically works such as Saworoide and Ti Oluwa Nile also disclosed that in response to industry needs, courses will be drawn in core areas of production and will be handled by seasoned professionals. According to Kelani, whose latest works, Arugba and Maami, are still creating buzzes. A renowned cinematographer from Ireland, Jack Conroy, will handle the master class on advanced cinematography. The class on 'From Script To Screen' will be handled by Tunde Kelani, himself. The two courses will run together from October 24 to 30.
