The police in the oil city of Warri,Delta State are having an uphill task in determining the true father of a set of twins recently delivered by a mad woman at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) maternity on Okere Road, as several men are claiming the ownership of the babies.

The babies who were delivered by the Senior Midwife of the maternity home are in good health presently at the maternity home.

Sources revealed that several men under the cover of darkness have been coming to beg in a bid to claim ownership of the babies, though most of them have nothing to do with the mother.

As a result of this development, the authorities of the church have not only reported the case to the police, they are also asking them to provide security for the babies, before these men come and snatch them or even steal them away.

The Senior Midwife of Christ Apostolic Church maternity has said that she was amazed, when the mad woman entered the church and asked for help during labour, which they and other medical personnel promptly granted in the delivery of the lovely twins.

She said the sick woman was later taken to a clinic for proper treatment when she started bleeding after her delivery.
