There has been crisis in the Association of Nigeria Theatre Art Practitioners (ANTP) as a result of leadership tussle. The crisis has really been affecting the association to move forward and as a result drawing the association back.

However, those in the know revealed that the elders in the Association are the cause of the problems.

Let's refresh you're your memories, after the administration of Prince Jide Kosoko,efforts to conduct a credible election has been futile as some factions disagreed with the anointed candidates of the elders and took their case to Court.

Also, the issue of the Governor of Lagos State Chapter has been in Court.

To unite the Association,DG for Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation;Otunba Segun Runsewe called for a peace meeting in trying to settle the rift in the association because of his interest in the body.

The meeting was held at Planet One Event Centre, Maryland, Lagos on Friday, July 22, 2011.He was able to unite the warring factions.

In attendance at the meeting were Prince Jide Kosoko, Victor Ashaolu, Lere Paimo, Oga Bello, Chief Jimoh Aliu, Dele Odule, Saidi Balogun, Dr Akintunde Ayeni among other stakeholders.
