Things are definitely looking up for Nollywood beautiful actress, Halima Abubakar as she has once again added another feather to her cap.
Last week, the actress won the best actress of the year in the Global News Leadership Awards organized by Global News Magazine as the best actress of the year award from the English category. The event that took place at Time Square Events Centerat Ikeja, Lagos.
The applause that greeted the presentation of the award by Nigeria Football and Other Sports supporters' club president, Chief Rafiu Ladipo to Halima is a sure indication that everybody that was in attendance that day agreed that the Kogi state born diva actually deserves the award.

Reacting, Halima who has put more than a decade into the Nigerian movie industry known as Nollywood said she gives all glory to God. She also used the opportunity to appreciate her fans that have been with her all these years and also to movie producers, directors and all her colleagues in the industry. Meanwhile, another magazine, City People has nominated her in the same category for their entertainments award coming up in Lagosvery soon.
