MY PROBLEM WITH BISI OLATILO.BEN TV BOSS,ALISTER SOYODE
The CEO of Ben TV London and the president of Nigerians in Diaspora Uk,Mr.Alistar was recently in Nigeria ,he revealed in an interview that the relationship between Biscom World Television and Ben TV London is just a mere relationship, there is no financial commitment, we only package and air those programmes by Biscom,we are at loss.
Excerpts from the interview;
Lots of people see you as one of the richest Nigerians judging by various programmes covered by Biscom TV in collaboration with Ben TV,London,what is your reaction?
Well, I am surprised at what you just asked me, although lots of people have continued to challenge me too, that I have really made money from all the events we transmit on TV, but I tell who cares to listen that those events were being packaged by Biscom not Ben TV.
The last time I spoke with CEO of Biscom, Bisi Olatilo, he said most of those programmes he packages are merely free of charge.
Even when I wanted to challenge him on that, he said the only place he is expecting money is not in cash but cheque and they even said the cheque is not ready.So, you see, there has been no reward for us.
Let me share another experience I had, somebody told me that, Biscom TV collected over #10 million from one of the clients that wanted to celebrate his birthday, Olatilo told the client that the whole world we know about him through Ben TV, London but no money was remitted to the accounts of Ben TV London, so I must say we are at a loss.
Initially when we started the parley, we agreed that when things improve and the money starts to roll in, we will both benefit. From what I've been hearing in town, it's only Biscom that is benefiting while Ben TV is losing.
The last time I met with Chief Bisi Olatilo,I told him that things must have to change but I believe we can still work things out amicably.
Are you still working with Biscom TV after you have discovered this insincerity on the part of Biscom World TV?
Well, like I told you, the last time we spoke, I told him that things would have to change but all the same we are still together.
We can work it out but it has to be strictly business. This time, we need to be sincere to each other.
