Behold, old things have passed away, and all things seem to be new for Yetunde Wunmi, the Yoruba actress that was recently arrested for drug trafficking by the National Drug and Law Enforcement Agents (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

Her sad experience in NDLEA's detention centre seems to have been a blessing in disguise as she has signed a lucrative deal with international promoter, Gonola Jaji, popularly known as Al Gory J.

NollywoodReel gathered that an agreement has been reached between Al Gory J and Wunmi to produce and promote the latter's new flick Ogun Oloro (Hard Drugs).

Though the movie is about hitting location, sources at Al Gory J disclosed to NollywoodReel that it is expected to gulp some millions of naira “because it will be a high standard movie in all ramifications.”

According to the manager of Al Gory J Investments, Tajudeen Ojora Babalola, a.k.a Tarimu, the mission of his entertainment outfit is to bring smiles to the faces of troubled artistes in the country.

“We've been doing that with other artistes like Pasuma, Atawewe, Iyabo Osanle and co, so Wunmi's time will not be different.”

He added that, “we will even be shooting her movie with our latest imported equipment and from there, we are going higher.

“We want to storm the English movie industry with a bang very soon. We are bringing a change to the industry, and I'm sure the quality of our jobs will speak for us,” Babalola stated.

NollywoodReel also gathered that Ogun Oloro is Wunmi's effort to enlighten the public on the risks involved in drug trafficking.

This is one of the conditions on which the Association of Nigerian Theatre Art Practitioners (ANTP) decided to pardon her for the drug trafficking offence.

The association stated that with her experience, she must produce three movies that will educate and enlighten the public on why they should avoid drug trafficking and the dangers inherent in it.

The movie will be shot with Al Gory J's DSR 400 and 450 new cameras, and will also be edited in its new editing studio in Ebute-Metta.
