The level of ignorance that permeates Nollywood grew by an inch last week and this time, it was popular actress Tonto Dikeh's dumb blond moment that contributed to the slight growth.

Legendary producer, director and CEO of OGD Pictures Tade Ogidan recently joined the popular social network Twitter. On June 15, to announce his entrance, he tweeted to a few actors on twitter to follow him. Within a few hours star actors like Stella Damasus (@stelladamasus), Rita Dominic (@ritaudominic), and Kalu Ikeagwu (@kaluikeagwu) had acknowledged and respectfully hailed him. Tonto Dikeh who has been flexing her star status lately also responded but her response made it apparent she had no idea who Mr. Ogidan was. Even though his twitter bio clearly stated who he was, Tonto still asked Mr. Ogidan to identify himself and his line of work. Tade Ogidan's must have been mildly irritated but he calmly asked Tonto to get the information from her colleagues who are no doubt better informed.

He is behind such blockbusters as "Out of Bounds", "Diamond Ring", "Hostages", "Dangerous Twins", "Saving Alero", and "Owo Blow". If you do not know who this man is, take a history lesson.
