Last Sunday, many actors and actresses trooped to Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to receive prayers from the man of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

we gathered that most of the actors were scared stiff going by the recurrence of death in their industry. As such, they rushed to the church for the man of God to pray for them.

However, when we called the Actors Guild of Nigeria president, Segun Arinze, who was also among the actors that went for the service, he said the church organised a programme for actors and they had to be there.

“I enjoyed myself spiritually. It was a wonderful thing. It is good for the industry. It is not everyday that a man of God wakes up and decides to pray for our industry. It is a sign of better things to come. I don't think it is anything bad for us entertainers to be prayed for,” he said. Among those, that went for the service were Jide Kosoko, Dele Odule and Iya Rainbow.

Anyway, nobody should really blame the actors who have suddenly sought refuge in God. The industry has lost notable practitioners in a short while, the most recent being Ashley Nwosu.
