2 of the most creative people in Nigeria-Ade Yusuf & Gbemi Johnson joined up together to showcase their new collections to a very appreciative crowd of buyers,stylists and the media recently at an event tagged-Bella De Jour, the beautiful event had so many people in attendance and it was at the swanky-La Saison restaurant, Raymond Njoku,Ikoyi,Lagos.

The inspiration behind the showcase was the imagination about styling a city chic in a cosmopolitan city like Lagos, the designers were inspired by the effortless chicness of the 70's style, the femininity of the elegance of the 50's, combining this elements and adding a modern twist, which is obvious in the use of very vibrant colours,novelty prints,simple shapes and neutral palette.

The collections on display ranges from long drapes,palazzo pants,colour block dresses and some of the most well finished and very beautiful leather accessories-purses & bags you can see anywhere in the world, while the outfits were made by Ade Yusuf for Pearl 11:30, the leather goods were made by Gbemi Johnson for O'eclat, and both ladies are each other's business partners. It definitely was a successful showcase,judging by the crowd that were in attendance & the feed back the exhibitors got.
