Putting his severed romance episode with Empress Njamah behind him, in a matter of weeks, dancehall act, Timaya will father his first child by an Abuja-based lady he's been seeing for a while. The Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa as Timaya fondly calls himself is flaunting the relationship, telling anyone who cares to listen, that he's settling down with the woman that will soon become the mother of his child.

A source close to the singer says Timaya is ready to 'settle down and be a man' and that he's confident he's found a lifetime partner.

Timaya's image was moving closer to decent and drama-free until most recently, when he disclaimed his vocals on K Solo's newly released song. He took to his Twitter page and told the world K Solo is being mischievous with the song; the utterance which has drawn a battle line of sort between the old friends.

Timaya would not comment on the story of his upcoming baby. Repeated calls to his phone were not answered or returned. And he did not reply text messages to his phone. Those close to him, however assure us 'it's only a matter of weeks' before the act and his partner welcome their first baby.
