For more than a year now, rumours of break-up have refused to leave the matrimonial home of one of the most controversy-free actress in Nollywood.
The actress Ngozi Ezeonu, whose sweet face makes the day of her fans each time they watch her in flicks is said to have been going through a hectic time of sorts in her marriage of ten years. According to some impeccable sources, things have now gone so bad that Ngozi who hitherto had been so reserved in discussions concerning her home front had to confide in her very good friend for an advise. Barely six months after she wept bitterly in the presence of her confidant she has reportedly taken the bullish decision of moving out of the said home in the oduduwa area of Ikate, a suburb of Surulere in Lagos with her three children.

Happenings that preceded her exit, include alleged infidelity on her husband's side, self –centeredness, dishonesty and insensitivity. Also mentioned to www.nollywoodgists.com was Ngozi's complaint about heavy harassment she's been getting from her husbands younger ones, especially the ladies among them, “they think that because I am an actress that I own the central bank, so situation where they need some financial assistance and I give my best, they would never be satisfied with it”
Prior to her rumoured exit from her matrimonial home, insiders claimed she got married in a rather controversial manner. Her husband was allegedly on his way to perform the traditional marriage rites of a lady when he met Ngozi and instantly jettisoned the ceremony.

Formerly Ngozi Ikpelue, they got married on December 16, 1994. The first of seven children and ex student of the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos. She's taken part in such hit movies as evil passion, Nneka, The Forbidden, Glamour Girls, Fatal desires, nightmare, among others. And until now used to rank among the best-behaved actresses and scandal free.
