Charlse Novia is a strong name synonymous with Nollywood. But of recent, there has been a pause in that area. As he puts it, he decided to take a break to enable him garner more experience as a professional. Expect at least five movies from me this year.

The first of such movie is Majek Fahek movie which will be out sometime March 2011. He has been close to the reggae artiste who also signed on the record for at least eight years. He also said that apart from the misconceptions about Majek, he feels this is his own way of immortalising him. Fashek first gained national fame on a television show in the early 1980s as a member of Benin-based reggae group Jastix. His bandmates included Ras Kimono and Amos McRoy Gregg.

They toured for many years with fellow reggae group The Mandators. In 1988, shortly after Jastix disbanded, he began a solo career and quickly became the best-known reggae artiste in Nigeria. His song "Send Down The Rain" was a hit, and he won six US-based PMAN Music Awards.
