2011: Entertainers Speak On Expectations

By Bayo Adetu

Less than 24 hours to the much anticipated New Year, some Nigerian entertainers speaks on their expectations.

Segun Arinze (Actor): I intend to execute great plans. I will also engage in hardwork.

K-Solo (Producer, singer): I pray for God's favour as usual, for me and the industry. It is time for real musicians to stay and the fake ones that buy fame with money to 'dismiss'.

Stella Damasus (Actress): As usual, I expect the grace of God and blessings. I am also looking forward to a situation where our entertainment industry will completely rule the world. People should also watch out for my television programmes and film training institute to take off.

Tonto Dike (Actress): Yes, I expect to do more quality jobs and, of course, take my career to the next level. 2011 is going to be our year.

P-Square (Musicians): We pray for continued favour from God. We intend to impact more positively on the people through music and charity as well as assist many youths to achieve their dreams.

J-Martins (Producer, singer): We will continue to play good music, make Nigeria proud and more importantly, move closer to God. I expect the unexpected in a positive way.

Helen 'Tatafo' Paul (Comedienne): My priority next year is to continue to put smile on the faces of people. I also have plans to embark on a charity project which every less privileged youth will benefit from.

Uche Jombo (Actress): To move closer to God and also continue to do my best in the industry.

Oby Edozieh (Actress): My expectation is to do better things, starting from where I stopped in 2010.
