THE SUPER WEDDINGS THAT SHOOK 2006

Atiku-Waziri Wedding: The top-class wedding of Vice President Atiku Abubakar's son, Adamu, and the daughter of Ambassador Dalimi Waziri.

Ali Baba's Wedding: Ace comedian, Halleluyah Atuyota Akpobome a.k.a. Ali Baba and a senior staff of Bank PHB, Mary Bassey. Mary is the mother of one of Ali Baba's children before they formally tied the knot.

Arisekola-Alao's Wedding: Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Arisekola-Alao drew the creme of the society to Ibadan in January, for the wedding of his son, Idris, at the Jagor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan.

Muyiwa Obasanjo's wedding: The wedding, which was postponed as a result of the sudden death of the First Lady, Chief (Mrs.) Stella Obasanjo, finally took place in Ota, when Muyiwa, the only son of the late Stella, hooked his heart-throb, Imisle Gracia from the Dominican Republic.

Sade Tinubu's Wedding: The Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, gave out his daughter, Folasade in a nikkai at the Abibatu Mogaji Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja. It was followed by a grand reception at The Pavilion, Adebola House, Ikeja.
