Scarlet Gomez Shares Heartfelt Story Of Selfless Stranger Who Fed Her During Darkest Days

Nollywood actress Scarlet Gomez has opened up about a profound lesson in kindness, sharing the story of a stranger who helped her selflessly during a difficult period in her life.

In a recent Instagram post, she reflected on how a man she met in 2010 became an unexpected blessing.

The award-winning actress recalled how the man, who lived in her area and attended the same church, would take her to eat Amala every Sunday and check up on her even when he wasn't around.

She admitted that she was suspicious at first, as she wasn't used to men helping without ulterior motives. However, he never made any advances, and their relationship remained purely platonic. She later realised that he had been feeding her when she needed it most, as she was struggling at the time.

Despite losing contact with him, Scarlet revealed that she has been searching for him ever since, unable to remember his name or exact address. She expressed hope of running into him someday and prayed that God would bless him wherever he is. She also encouraged her followers to appreciate those who have helped them selflessly.

She wrote: "I was having a conversation with my P.A @ it led to people that help and expect nothing in return. I suddenly remembered a guy I made friends with randomly in Eric Manuel. Bode Thomas way back around 2010. This guy lived in the area and would just casually wave at me when passing by my gate. I noticed he attended my church at the time (Petra) and so we became friends. For the next two years you won't believe every Sunday after church this guy will take me to Olaiya surulere and buy me Amala with 'orisirisi'. As a girl not used to kind gestures from guys without wanting anything in return.

I was waiting for the day he will shoot his shot and tell me he liked me. That day never came. He never said it. We had such a beautiful platonic relationship. Even the days he wasn't around or didn't go to church he will send me money or check up on me later.. little did he know he fed me when I really needed the food (I was going through it). Life happened, and we lost contact.

I've been looking for him till date and sadly can't remember his name, friends or actual address (this was around 2010). I keep praying he's doing well @ has all the beautiful things in life. Hopefully I run into him some day, I'll be beyond happy. Wherever you are may GOD bless you. @ THANK YOU!

Who's someone you'll never stop being grateful for because they helped you selflessly."
