Wumi Toriola Is Better Than Funke, Mercy, Toyin Combined – Film Critic Tolu Fagbure

Renowned Nollywood film critic and radio broadcaster Tolu Fagbure has stirred controversy with his recent assessment of top actresses in the industry.

In a recent interview, he declared that Wumi Toriola is better than Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, and Toyin Abraham put together when it comes to acting.

Fagbure also described Wumi Toriola as the wisest of them all, citing her decision to hire Judith Audu as a producer for her film Queen Latifa rather than crediting herself. He argued that this move showed self-awareness, as she recognized her own limitations in production.

He said: "Wumi Toriola is better than Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, and Toyin Abraham put together when it comes to acting, and she's the wisest of them all.

If you watch Queen Latifa, it's a better film production. She didn't credit herself as a producer; she hired Judith Audu because she knows she's not capable."
