Own Your Mistakes And Choices But Make Amends – Morayo Afolabi-Brown Clarifies Shaffy Bello's Advise To Sex Workers In Viral Interview 

Popular media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown has addressed the comments made by Nollywood veteran, Shaffy Bello, during a recent episode of the Morayo show.

Recall that Shaffy Bello sparked online debate after a clip of her recent appearance on the Morayo show surfaced online. In the clip, she stated that she has nothing against sex workers who engage in the act with the mindset of making ends meet and surviving.

She urged them to do it with respect, however, they shouldn't stay long in the act.

Issuing a disclaimer in a recent Instagram post, the host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown admitted that Shaffy Bello's advise to females who engage in the act of sex-for-money to "do your ashawo with respect," was wrong.

According to her, the actress was unable to gather her thoughts fully, hence her decision to interject and put it into perspective of "with your full chest."

Thr former managing director of TVC also reiterated that the message in that clip was for those involved in the act to admit their mistakes and change.

She wrote: "I forgot to address the part where @iamshaffybellomentioned, “do your ash*wo with respect”.

We all know that doesn’t sound right or make sense. Again, when on television, you sometimes say things you don’t really mean because you don’t have the moment to gather your thoughts accurately. What she was trying to say is, “no matter what bad choices you make, own it”. Respect was not the right word, that was why I helped her with the phrase, “with your full chest”, which is what she was actually trying to drive at, NOT RESPECT. Own your mistakes and choices but make amends.
