I Do What God Asks Me To Do – Actress Shaffy Bello Speaks On Decision To Solely Focus On Acting

Veteran Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has opened up on the reason she has decided to solely focus on acting without delving into producing.

The movie star shared that she is strongly of the perception that not all actors have to be producers, noting how she is following God's purpose for her life, which is to make impact in acting.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the Morayo Brown Show, Shaffy Bello recounted her journey to fame, explaining that she constantly prayed to get a career changing opportunity.

She emphasized that upon getting the fame and recognition, she discovered that it came with a significant amount of pressure and expectations, however, she has no choice than to continue since she was the one who requested for it.

According to Bello, anyone who is blessed with being an actor alone or a producer alone should focus on it and improve their craft, emphasizing that they can make impact without doing two things.

She also added that being an actress alone does not diminish her prestige in anyway, positing that some producers don't have the same impact she has already made in her career.

“I am an actor. Every actor does not have to be a producer. I face my lane. I do what God asks me to do. And he asked me to have an impact.

He gave me a platform, and after I got that platform, it became so stressful. That once in a while I would remember the days I was on my knees asking to be a household name. Now I am.
